Unity aggregates the combined knowledge of HR professionals,
outplacement experts and recruiters, in order to provide its
members with unrivalled career guidance.

The platform

for fast content heavy websites. The foundation of Unity is a
powerful modern content management system that provides an easy
basis for building pages and functionality. More importantly, as a
content provider, it's a very easy way for you to create new
content and manage your website and community.
You will only need basic PC skills to update the site.
This gives you the ability to offer a modern interactive
presence on the web.
If you want more functionality (e.g. a new kind of
test), enhancements to the system are fast and easy to make.

When working with the DWP, we had the
privilege of working with thousands of jobseekers. This
allowed us to learn from their opinions and
suggestions. We realised that jobseekers can easily miss out
on engaging with career experts and networking with other
jobseekers.
Now, with the help of the tools within Unity, jobseekers can
engage with each other and career guidance experts, quickly and
easily.
Users can comment on content
Jobseekers have a voice within the community and can share their
work life experiences, or comment about the content or tools
on the site.
But, what about profanities or spam?
No problem! The community almost manages content by itself. All
content comments can be rated by the community's members. This then
allows you to identify any unfavourable comments and manage the
content effectively.
Users are rewarded with "karma" points
when they create content and when other users give their comments a
"thumbs up". So, active and valuable members of the community gain
credibility for their input.
The job club for the 21st century
With Unity comes a forum, pre-populated with topics we have
found of interest to jobseekers.
The forum also supports "mentor"
functionality where career advisors are clearly marked as
experts. This helps members to identify trustworthy
comments/opinions and seek guidance from the right people.
